Review: I bought these trekking Gore-tex for a trip to Patagonia in December early January 2023. They are really comfortable, extremely light and great for walking on wet trails. I used them every day and loved them. I also went on a expedition cruise along the fjords and was on and off a Zodiac getting a bit wet at times and they were fine. Walked along a few little islands to see glaciers, and the local flora & fauna were one got wet, as it was raining and they kept my feet dry.

Review: I have worn Solomon shoes for many years. I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot and trails have puddles and mud. The Gor-tex Hiking shoe is waterproof, has good grip, and warm on the feet. If you have a wide foot, high arch, and narrow heel these shoes are for you. I have worn the same size in all the styles I have purchased and they consistently fit as expected. I would recommend these shoes for winter hiking/walking as they would likely be too warm during the summer months.

Review: Wore this on a trip that involved a light 4-hour hike on grassy, muddy, rocky paths. Got rained on and walked through puddles. Very comfortable and kept my feet dry. The shoes are roomy and allowed me to wear thick sports socks. The tongue reaches up the bend from my foot to me leg, and chafed a bit when I first wore it with invisible socks. Longer socks eliminated the issue. I have a 2nd pair of this same model in the non-GTX variant (and another color), too. Those I wear in dry weather.
