The Features of ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 2-Person Tent
Easy Set Up
One of the standout features of the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 2-Person Tent is its easy set up. The tent features a free-standing, aluminum two-pole design that’s quick and easy to set up, thanks to its pole clips that quickly snap over the poles. This means that you won’t have to spend a lot of time and effort setting up your tent, allowing you to get to other activities faster. Additionally, the two-pole design ensures that the tent remains sturdy and stable, even in windy conditions.
Full Coverage Rainfly
The 75D 185T polyester fly with 1500 mm coating provides excellent weather protection, making the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 2-Person Tent a great choice for camping in wet conditions. The fly is UV-resistant, ensuring that it won’t be damaged by the sun’s rays. The factory-sealed fly and floor seams provide added protection from rain, ensuring that you stay dry even in heavy downpours. The full coverage rainfly also provides added privacy and security, making it a great choice for camping in crowded campgrounds.
Two Doors and Two Vestibules
The ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 2-Person Tent features two doors and two vestibules, making entry and exit easy and providing plenty of gear storage and wet-weather protection. The vestibules are large enough to store backpacks, shoes, and other gear, keeping your tent clutter-free and organized. This also means that you won’t have to worry about getting your gear wet in case of rain. The two doors also provide added convenience, allowing each person to enter and exit the tent without disturbing the other person.
The half mesh walls and rainfly vents allow for great ventilation, making the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx 2-Person Tent a great choice for warm weather camping trips. The mesh walls allow fresh air to flow through the tent, keeping it cool and comfortable, while the rainfly vents prevent condensation from building up inside the tent. This means that you won’t have to worry about waking up in a stuffy and uncomfortable tent. The ventilation also helps to keep insects and bugs at bay, ensuring that you have a peaceful night’s sleep.

Review: I only used this tent for about 2 weeks, so I can’t attest to it’s actual longevity, however it proved to be astoundingly durable.

Review: I love this thing. Good price for a good tent. I lived out of this for about 2 weeks while I was doing some field work out west. Set it up right and it will hold up to most conditions. I’ve had hard rain and 20+ mph winds and I was one of the lucky ones who stayed dry and didn’t have my tent collapse. Get you rain fly and guy lines down and invest in a couple heavy duty stakes to put on opposite corners for extra security.

Review: I purchased this tent because I wanted a cheap, good, backpacking tent. I’m not ready to spend over 300.00 for a tent, even over 150.00. I mostly just car camp, but I have taken the tent on a short backpacking trip. I have had it for almost a year, and it gets a good amount of use. It is rare that I go on a trip and am not camping. Review: Used this for a bikepacking trip. Was able to put my bike in the tent upside-down with me. No worries about theft of an expensive bike! Panniers stayed out of site and dry with the flaps on tent. Also good quality and easy to setup.
