Review: I honestly felt like this thing wasn’t going to support my weight. It did. I’m 136 pounds and 5’7″. Length is good. Once it loosens up where the straps attach to the hammock it stopped sounding like it was gonna rip off. I feel comfortable and supported in it.

Review: The first opportunity I had to take this thing out the weather was a cold and rainy spring day. I kayak to my campsite so immediately I appreciated the portability of this product. The rain fly is substantially larger than the picture makes it appear which is a plus in itself; even adjusted for me at 6’0 the rain fly came all the way to the ground on either side. The material appears to be hydrophobic, when I woke up all I did was tap the side of the fly and all the water slid right off; stayed dry all night even with the wind and all my gear under me was too. The only thing I dislike is that this hammock comes with the worst camping stakes you’ve ever seen, I put them in the ground in several places with and without vegetation and I never got them to stay, I ended up using rocks from the lake to hold it down which worked well. Overall it’s a fantastic product and I’d buy it again.

Review: This product is amazing for the price. I can only complain about one issue, and that is the interior pocket may have not been attached properly from factory because it ripped after second use of the hammock; other than that, I have taken this hammock out on multiple trips. The pocket ripped after only having my phone and charging bank in it, but only complaint. It holds up well to the rain, but I would take the extra money saved on this and buy a longer tarp. It was raining sideways one night with 20+mph winds and every so often it would rain on the hammock. I love how everything comes with this bundle, and that makes it the ultimate set to grab and go. I wanted to rate it 5 stars if only the pocket was attached better. I could have a defect because my other Sunyear hammock (double) seems to be doing just fine. Hopefully, I can get it fixed, but it’s past the return date

Review: All-in-all I like this hammock. It’s fairly light weight and comfortable enough. The construction is good for the price point, except possibly the netting. The mesh is a stretchy material that hopefully will give a little before it tears, but time will tell. The holes in the mesh are larger than on my last hammock, but should stop bugs larger than a sand flea.

Review: I bought this last year fall thinking of using during backpacking but didn’t get a chance as it got too cold. I recently moved to a new apartment which has a fenced in patio. Today, I hung this in my back patio using the fence and hung out with my cat. It was easy to set up and pretty fun to chill on. It’s sturdy as well.
